Dr Arpinder Bansi is a chartered civil engineer and divisional manager in Atkins. Arpinder has extensive experience in the design, construction and delivery of highways and railway projects. She has managed Local Authority Commissions, Highway Agency Contracts and Railtrack Projects. She is a member of the Midlands Transport Solutions Operational Management Board. Her other roles include championing Diversity and driving Business Excellence. She won the Inspirational Leader in Civil Engineering award in 2007. She was also shortlisted for the Hafta Diversity Pioneer Award for developing innovate transport consultation strategies with ethnically diverse communities.
