Breakfast Connections

Breakfast Connections is a long established breakfast networking event and we are delighted to be joined on this occasion by Tim Pile, CEO of Cogent Elliott, the leading Midlands based marketing company, supporting a large number of iconic brands and businesses.

Tim will be addressing the issue of how to deliver effective marketing of Professional Services. With some honourable exceptions, marketing in this sector is often a poor relation to the typical fast moving consumer goods or consumer service brands. “An intensely people-based industry such as Professional Services needs its own set of marketing principles.” says Tim.

Tim was CEO of Sainsbury’s Bank and a member of Sainsbury’s Operating Board. He is a non-exec Board Director of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and, until recently, a non-exec Director of Cancer Research UK.

Hosted by Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Group and also open to members of Birmingham Forward, Breakfast Connections will be held in the Vista Suite at the Crowne Plaza, Birmingham City Centre, now one of the leading places to stay in the city having undergone a £16 million redevelopment.

The seated breakfast offers businesses the opportunity to book individual places or to entertain clients, guests or colleagues (tables of 10). There is general networking time prior to the breakfast enabling companies to meet and make connections with a variety of business people from across the region.
