Regional Managing Director, RBS Corporate Banking
Stephen Cockell is the Regional Managing Director of the RBS Corporate Bank in the Midlands & East of England regions. There are around 1,000 customers across six offices: Birmingham, Nottingham, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Norwich and Chelmsford.
Steve is based at the Regional Office in St Philips Place, Birmingham, and previously held roles in RBS as head of sector teams in Industrials, Transport, and Services. He oined RBS from NatWest in the late 90s where he worked in a variety of relationship roles in Corporate Banking, and in the different disciplines of strategy, marketing and training. Steve is a member of the West Midlands CBI Council, Fellow of the ifs School of Finance, member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers and Guild of International Bankers. He recently joined the Prince's Trust Birmingham Development Committee.
Steve is married to Anne, has two children, one dog, four cats and numerous fish. He watches football and rugby and plays golf.
