Alongside our Board we have a number of committees who assist us in the effective running of the organisation. We currently have the following committees:
Deputised by the Board to look after the day to day affairs of Birmingham Forward and Birmingham Future this committee has an annually changing membership that reflects the senior officer roles of both the Board and the Birmingham Future Leadership Team.
Members are:
Committee meets two weeks before each Board Meeting - currently 8 times a year.
Reporting to the Executive Committee this group provides an independent overview of the finances of the organisation. Birmingham Forward produces detailed monthly financial reports and this committee meets to review those results and to provide advice and support to the small internal finance team.

Committee meets monthly in the middle of each month.
This committee has a wide ranging remit as its title suggests. Its role is to oversee the marketing strategy, membership recruitment and retention and the events programme for Birmingham Forward. (Birmingham Future has separate committees to oversee these activities on behalf of its members).
Membership of this committee is made up of members with various interests and the committee is currently chaired by Beverley Weston, George Green LLP. Email bweston@georgegreen.co.uk
Committee meets monthly up to 11 months on the year.
In the second half of 2009 we are looking to constitute some further committees to develop some core themes and areas of interest to our members. We expect to draw up draft Terms or Reference for these committees in late April or early May and will then invite interested members to get involved.
